Redline Racing, based on the Big Island of Hawaii, is well known locally for producing fast, exciting, and high quality race and street imports. Not just limited to straight-line performance, we also work on cone-killing drift cars. Our primary weapons of choice include Hondas, Nissans, Toyotas, and Mazdas. Oh yeah, 2003 and 2004 BIAC import champions too.

Two years later, and finally an update, LOL! Lot's of changes have occurred, but none bigger than my daughter who is now over a year and a half old. I am still racing, just not as much. I now only compete in the Stray-Kat Import King Points Series which is held on a bi-monthly schedule.
Two weeks ago was the IKPS 2010 season opener at the Hilo Dragstrip. Due to some crappy early morning weather, the event got off to a late start, but as the saying goes, better later than never. The die-hards who came down and waited it out, got rewarded with a decently prepped track with several drivers laying down personal bests, including me. In the end, I came in 2nd in the Outlaw class. Caught a lucky break in the first round as my opponent broke on the line, sending me into the finals as the class only had 4 cars. Ended up taking home $175 and a trophy.

So you just bolted on that header, cat-back exhaust, intake, and rechipped ecu. That's gotta be worth at least 30 horsepower right? Wrong!! If you want find out exactly how much power you are putting down to the pavement, you need to get put your car on the dyno. Not only can you find out how much horsepower and torque you are netting, you can also see how rich or lean your motor is running in REAL TIME. By using a wide-band oxygen sensor while doing a pull on the dyno, you can see exactly how your motor is running. The dyno is an invaluable tool for not only tuning, but troubleshooting as well. Need Synchros?
Is your Honda tranny grinding between shifts? Most likely your synchros are on the way out. Don't wanna pay an arm and a leg for factory replacements?
