As for my CRX, it survived the dyno and a race weekend. Justin Izumi of Izumi Racecraft managed to get 570+whp out my turbocharged 84mm GS-R. Again, we ran into traction issues on the dyno, despite using 225/45/17 BFG G-Force drag radials. On the track, the car is a handful, but I did run my quickest and fastest numbers yet, a 10.75 @ 139 mph, without the use of wheelie bars. I am looking forward to the upcoming Sport Compact shoot-out on August 9 and 10.
Some have been wondering about my LS turbo project. Well, that has been put on the back burner for now. I will no longer be putting the motor in my four-door EG either. With the surging gas prices, I cannot have the motor in my daily driver, which is saving me money right now. The current plan is to locate an EG shell, preferably a coupe, and drop the motor in there. But before that happens, the LS motor still needs to be assembled, and before that happens, I still need to decide on some pistons for the motor.
That's a quick run-down of what's going on in my world right now. For more up to date happenings, check out the Redline808 Forums. Just follow the link below.

Redline's DynoJet

So you just bolted on that header, cat-back exhaust, intake, and rechipped ecu. That's gotta be worth at least 30 horsepower right? Wrong!! If you want find out exactly how much power you are putting down to the pavement, you need to get put your car on the dyno. Not only can you find out how much horsepower and torque you are netting, you can also see how rich or lean your motor is running in REAL TIME. By using a wide-band oxygen sensor while doing a pull on the dyno, you can see exactly how your motor is running. The dyno is an invaluable tool for not only tuning, but troubleshooting as well. Don't rely on inconsistent track or street tuning. Only on a dyno can you get consistent, controlled "runs". For more info or to see some cars that have been tuned on the Redline DynoJet, CLICK HERE
